𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
The Lyceum of Cebu – Andres Abellana Campus, now proudly standing with its newly completed prefabricated two-storey building, serves as the first-ever school established under Judge Esperanza Garcia’s visionary ideals. This educational institution currently caters to learners from 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 6, with ambitious plans underway to expand into 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲-𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in the near future.
The inauguration ceremony was led by CFI Coop’s 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐅. 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚, whose unwavering leadership has turned this long-held dream into a reality. He was joined by 𝐄𝐕𝐏/𝐂𝐎𝐎 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐅. 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚, 𝐂𝐏𝐀, and esteemed members of the 𝐂𝐅𝐈 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Atty. Manolette Fel Dinsay, Atty. Jay-R Lim, Dir. Alma Jaranilla, and Dir. Dulce Leticia Jabines.
Also present were 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐅. 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚, 𝐂𝐏𝐀, and 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥 𝐒. 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐫, who have been instrumental in shaping the academic framework of the Lyceum. In his heartfelt message, Chairman Garcia acknowledged the challenges and delays encountered during the construction phase, yet praised the enduring faith of the parent community:

The school building inauguration stands as a living tribute to 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚’𝐬 belief in education as a cornerstone of empowerment and social upliftment.

Following the school event, CFI Coop hosted the 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 at the 4𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐅𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝. This updated medical facility aims to provide enhanced healthcare services to the cooperative’s members and employees.

Capping off the twin inaugurations was a commemorative luncheon in honor of the 100𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 of 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, whose pioneering work laid the foundation for the CFI Cooperative’s enduring legacy.
The heartfelt occasion gathered 𝐂𝐅𝐈’𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟𝐬, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞𝐬, and special guests in a touching tribute to the late matriarch.
One of the most emotional moments came from 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐏𝐉 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚, who, with tears in his eyes, shared: “𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭.”
The event concluded with a powerful tribute from 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐅.
